3 cups Water 1/4 cup Soy sauce 3 teaspoons vegetable oil 1 onion chopped or 1/8 cup dry onion flakes or 2 teaspoons onion powder 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon thyme 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 3 cups regular oats 1/2 cup nutritional yeast Bring all ingredients except oats to a boil. Add oats slowly, stirring constantly and gently until mixed. Simmer at low heat for a few minutes. Don't scorch. Cool to room temperature Form patties 1/2 inch thick. Bake at 350Â for 20 minutes, turn over, bake 20 minutes.
