"Hey, Jennifer."

"Hey, Raven." Jennifer snapped.

"Whoa, what's going on?" Raven eyed Jennifer warily. I bet it's when she
found Alyson and I curled up together. Damnit!

"I saw you and Alyson together. What happened between you?" she screamed.

"Nothing! I slept seventeen hours that day. She got home late like always,
and came in to check on me. I woke up then, and we just started talking. We
were up until two, talking. We fell asleep right there. We were so
exhausted. I was still sick, and she'd worked all day."

"I know you. That wasn't all that happened."

"It was. Really."

"Fine." Jennifer glared at her, then turned and walked off. "You had your
chance. I'm done." Fucking hell. She's just like everyone else. Damnit. I
thought she was different.

"Jennifer! I promise! Nothing happened!"

"Raven, I don't care. Bye." She stormed around a corner.

Damnit, Raven thought.
