[10-15: At this very moment...] It was Sama who stopped dancing first, sitting down by the side of the rail car on a pile of luggage, and watching everyone else. The train lurched to a stop to discharge passengers, and Meera toppled over, landing next to Sama. A couple came and fetched a couple of the suitcases in the car, but the bagpiper never stopped playing. Several people stuck their heads into the car and started clapping and stomping along. A young man who Meera thought looked rather nice, wearing a cap that made his ears stick out, asked her to dance. She hid her face for a moment, then shrugged and let him take her by the arm, and twirl her about, yelling instructions for dance moves over the din of the bagpipe and stomping. The train lurched to a start again, and the dancers stumbled and laughed again, then kept on dancing. The loudspeaker blared the names of the next stops, but it couldn't be heard over the noise. Another shudder to a stop, and the bagpiper took a moment to catch his breath. The young man Meera was dancing with started to yell out "I'm Andrew.", then caught himself in the sudden quiet and said "I'm Andrew. What's your name?" At that very moment as Meera started to introduce herself, the door behind her opened and there was a bellow. "Meera! Sama!" Both girls started and whirled around. "What ARE you doing?" Their uncle was standing in the doorway, and his usual quiet reserve was gone, his cheeks were puffed up and he was gesturing wildly. "This is our stop, and the train is being held. Come, and get your things." Meera pursed her lips and said "Yes, sir." She turned to the young man. "Meera. Meera Pradeshant." "Now!" came the bellow from behind her again. She jumped, grabbed her bag, and hurried after her uncle and sister.
